Johnny Appleseed visited our class
Jack’s dad was our Watch DAWG today. He helped us make apple prints
rolling out doh to make an apple pie
We read ‘The Apple Pie Tree’ and made playdoh pies.
After we read ‘The Apple Pie Tree’ we sorted objects by seasons and represented the apple tree in each season .
We practiced writing numbers in a sensory tray full of apple cinnamon oatmeal and wrote with cinnamon sticks.
seasons of the apple tree
we used snow for Winter, blossoms for spring, apples for Fall, & green leaves for Summer
See you at the Pole at Griffis @ 7:15 in the morning. One Church will be leading.

Our hallway smells AMAZING today! Cinnamon apples are simmering in the crockpot to celebrate Johnny Appleseed Day. Mrs. Wright’s PreK kiddos are counting apples and using our 5 senses to describe apples.

Region 10 is offering a FREE expo to families of students with disabilities. Connecting the Dots Expos are a series of informational fairs for students with disabilities, their caregivers, and educators as well as vendors who provide services. The purpose of the fair is to provide information about community-based resources, services, and supports. The fair will offer information and resources available to families such as medical and mental health services, educational support, employment training and support, post-secondary planning, recreational activities, support groups, information on guardianship and supported decision-making, and more. The day is structured for attendees to have informal access to the variety of vendors participating, as well as attending structured content breakout sessions. Sponsoring districts across the eight-county area of Region 10 ESC in collaboration with the ESC staff provides this free fair in order to connect and support our communities. No registration is required for students and families.
