Second grade learned about 3D Shapes this week. Mrs. Heald's class was challenged to bring 3D shapes from home. We had a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for the most unique ones from home.
Pre-K has begun a search for Cinderella! Bippity Boppity Boo…who will fit the shoe?!?!
Mrs. Heald's second grade class ended our week in math by bringing 3D shapes from home. They were challenged to look for some unique examples of 3D shapes at home. The top 3 won an award and prize. We had fun sharing them with each other.
Mrs. Poteet's 3rd Grade Class had Pioneer Day today to wrap up our novel Sarah, Plain and Tall. We made butter for our biscuits, yarn dolls, built log cabins, and even felt real animal skins. Thank you to all the parents that donated!

We are learning how to count, write numbers, and tell math stories in Mrs. Wright’s and Mrs. Dawn’s Pre-K. We made trees and puppets for “5 Little Monkeys Swinging in a Tree”.
Don't forget our Griffis Family Book Fair Night is from 4:30-6:30 tonight. Be sure and get a picture by our new pumpkin that the Caddo Mills Middle School Art students did!
Don't forget that the Book Fair is this week. Your child will be going to the Book Fair during their scheduled library day or during open library times with their teacher's permission. The Book Fair will not be open to students before or after school. BUT we do have our Book Fair Family Night tomorrow from 4:30-6:30.
