This past weekend, the CMHS Speech & Debate Team made Caddo Mills history! They competed at 2 tournaments on Friday and Saturday; one at Athens High School and the other at Rock Hill. Kamdyn Mathews and Jessica Jenkins were in the elimination rounds of CX Debate at both tournaments. They placed 6th at Athens and 3rd at Rock Hill, with Kamdyn earning the top speaker award.
Their performance throughout the season has earned them a qualifying spot at the Texas Forensics Association's State Tournament. This is no small feat as the qualification criteria for this tournament is based on points that you earn from being consistently successful throughout the year. Jenkins and Mathews are the first team to ever qualify for the TFA State tournament from Caddo Mills!! This is a HUGE accomplishment and we are so proud of the work that these girls have put in.
Due to the storm, Caddo Mills Middle School, Caddo Mills Intermediate School, and Lee Elementary are experiencing partial power loss. This outage affects our air conditioning, internet access, and some classrooms. Griffis and Caddo Mills High School have not been affected by the power loss.
We thank the cafeteria staff for responding quickly to ensure that all students have been fed.
Due to the outage, parents can pick up their students early today. Standard bus schedules and typical afternoon dismissal procedures will be followed if you do not pick up your child.
Congratulations to our Lady Foxes on such a successful season! We are so proud of how hard each and every one of you have worked this season both on and off the court!!
Congratulations to these seniors for making the THSCA Academic All-State Volleyball team!!! Each one of these girls has a GPA of a 92 or above. Their dedication to the classroom first truly shows what it means to be a dedicated student athlete. We are beyond proud of their accomplishment!!!

On Saturday, November 9, Fox Robotics competed in the Greenville High Stakes Fall Tournament. CMHS brought eight teams to the competition, five advanced to the Elimination Rounds. 43272X reached the Quarter Finals.
43272Z Banana Blitz received the Create Award.

The Sly Fox Theatre Company attended The Texas Shakespeare Festival Road Show at the Greenville Municipal Auditorium and attended a workshop with professional performers. Students learned so much and had such a great time "going to hear a play" by the Bard!
