Thank you for such a wonderful Tuesday treat! 💚

Another day, another friendship shout out! Way to go Brecken Parr!

Last night we had the opportunity to honor our student of the month, Ella Day, and staff member of the month, Jessica Gustafson. We are so grateful for these two and the way they shine every day!

Anything but a backpack day was a hit! It was so much fun seeing how creative our students could be with their new and "improved" backpacks today! We can't wait to see your decades day attire tomorrow!

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month allows us to appreciate the contributions of so many people and the cultures they represent. Today, we are celebrating wonderful authors who bring culture to life for us all in their books. Here are three books for various levels of readers that celebrate Hispanic culture in literature.

Our sweet Mr. Ronnie and Royce Brown were caught being great friends today! We are so grateful for the kind acts of our students and staff each day! 💚

Today began Hispanic Heritage Month, when people from all backgrounds learn, appreciate, and celebrate the rich tapestry of Hispanic and Latino cultures.

Today we had our first two students get to ring the Katie Bell! Lincoln Anthony and Julian Bradley both celebrated their excellent achievements on their 1st six weeks math assessment!

We are so proud to have more shout outs for students who show friendship every day! You make our campus SHINE!

September is a very special month at Lee Elementary because we show our support for childhood cancer and those children and families affected by it. If you have visited our campus, you may have seen this beautiful photo and bell at the front entrance. This is our Katie Bell that serves in remembrance of Katie Higginbotham, one of our famiLEE members who fought hard in her own cancer battle and whose spirit and courage inspired our community and continues to be celebrated. Students are able to ring the Katie Bell in celebration of big accomplishments on our campus and we are blessed to see her smiling face each day, a constant reminder of strength, love and #katiebellskourage.

Look who was caught being a good friend! We are so proud of our kiddos and the way they connect with others to show friendship!

Today is Patriot Day, when we remember and honor those who were injured or lost their lives in the attacks of 9/11. They will never be forgotten.
