Today, we are focusing on the X in our EXCEL model. This stands for Explore, which focuses on getting in touch with students by setting a positive tone, celebrating good things, and teaching leadership through positive thinking. Our kindness ambassadors and student council members, under the guidance of Mrs. Hogan and Mrs. Oakes help us do this on our campus by greeting their peers at the doors!

As a CKH school, we work to uphold the EXCEL model daily. Today, we are featuring Ms. Young, who embodies the ENGAGE step of this model by allowing students to lead learning opportunities in the classroom. Her students get to teach lessons and lead calendar, then they pick special cheers to celebrate their peers!
