Griffis: ARRIVAL Traffic Change TOMORROW, 1/13. ALL morning drop off traffic will use the FRONT entrance. The back of Griffis will not be accessible during the Hot Chocolate Run. Afternoon dismissal will be back to normal procedures.
Tomorrow is Race Day! Here are some final details that you may need to be aware of.
Day of Events:
6:45: Registration begins (If you have already pre-registered online you do not have to register or check in on race day. If you have not paid you can pay tomorrow at the registration table.)
7:10: Race Line Up
7:15: Race Begins
Hot Chocolate at the Finish Line
Please park in the back parking lot of Griffis if you are participating in the event. The start/finish line will be at the back carpool line at Griffis. All morning drop off at Griffis on Friday, 1/13 will be at the front of the building for those not participating in this event. If you arrive after 7:10 for the race you will have to park in the front of Griffis or on the neighborhood streets in Caddo Downs.
All guaranteed t-shirts were delivered to your student today and they will be coming home today. We do not have any extra t-shirts available.

Griffis 1 Mile Hot Chocolate Run: You still have time to register!
Griffis PTO invites you to participate in the Hot Chocolate 1 mile run. The run will take place on Friday, 1/13 at 7:15 AM. The route will go through the Caddo Downs neighborhood located behind Griffis. Students, parents and community members are invited to participate. Please complete this registration form for EACH participant. Cash or check only as a form of payment. Send money to the Griffis PE Department with labeled registration names. Make checks payable to Griffis PTO. Early Registration includes a T-shirt and Hot Chocolate. Registration due 12/16 to guarantee t-shirt. Day of registration available, t-shirt not included.
