🦊 2023 - 2024 school calendar! 🦊
The CMISD School Board approved the new calendar at the meeting Monday night.

Districts across the state are required to attend 75,600 minutes of school during a calendar year. Due to the bad weather days earlier this month, March 10th will be a full day, not an early release. This will allow us to make up the necessary minutes and still have days off in April.

Be sure to check out Pizza and Picasso in the Griffis cafeteria on March 2 from 5:00 - 6:45. You can view your child's / children's artwork, eat pizza, and bid on some really awesome classroom masterpieces!
Please RSVP on the link below so we can plan appropriately. Payment will be made at the door Thursday night.

Griffis would like to give a shout-out to one of our subs! We miss our teachers when they are out, but we LOVE our subs that are able to step in. This is Mrs. Stettner's first year to sub. She has already filled in on 2 long term sub positions. She is a true ROCK STAR! She has done ALL the things from Technology 3-4, Technology K-2, Gifted and Talented, Enrichment and now 1st Grade. She is doing a fabulous job. She has stepped in and helped our students continue to grow in their education journey at Griffis! Look at this cool Science experiment she did with our 1st Graders!
We truly appreciate our subs
and the support they give our teachers and students! We have many great subs that are regulars at Griffis. If you would like to join our team as a sub let us know! We would love for you to join us! We are blessed with the BEST students around to work with!
It's always a GREAT day to be a 🦊!
