District personnel have been closely monitoring the weather and road conditions throughout the day. Precautions have been taken to ensure that buses and buildings are warm and ready for students and staff to return.
For bus riders: when the buses pull up to your house in the morning, students can come out at that time. The buses will wait for you due to the cold temperatures.

It was our first Golden Griffis Celebration of 2024 this morning! Mrs. Ash won the Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes Game. We celebrated the success of Griffis Go Getters, good friends and responsible students! 2nd grade WON the first Spirit Stick Competition with class cheers! It's a GREAT day to be a FOX, Go Griffis!
Griffis Week at a Glance January 15-19: We had a great first week back from break! We hope you enjoy the long weekend and stay warm:) The district will be monitoring the weather. Winter Fun in PreK today! We predicted how long it would take for our snowman to melt. We also worked on counting and letter identification in our snow centers.

Do you wanna build a snowman? Yes!! Mrs. Wright’s Pre-K had a blizzard of FUN at our Christmas party! We ended with an epic snowball fight and our parents joined in the fun too!

Griffis: Christmas Parties are today! You may park in the front or back of Griffis. Visitors who have RSVP'd will check in at the side soccer field doors. All other visitors must sign in at the front lobby kiosk. Photo ID required. RSVP link has closed to pre-register for our parties. Safety is our number one priority, thank you for your patience as we make adjustments to our check in procedures as we grow.
