Our Character Trait of the week is Good Citizenship. Our school district promotes this every day and how to give back to the world around us. Because of the snow storm, CMMS moved their 212 Community Service Day to April 23rd.

Two of our 8th graders competed with the high school team. Their 3 Point Hay Spear received a Blue Ribbon. Congratulations Sean Amelia and Jacob Morel. The next four years in high school are looking bright!

We have a SEMI-FINALIST on our hands!! Way back in January we uploaded videos and abstracts to compete in the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Agricultural Public Speaking Contest. Caddo Mills had 4 entries!! Brennan Baker (Junior Division,) Jacey Sharkey, Kacy Pullen & Avery Pullen (Senior Division.) Got word today that Brennan has been selected as a semi-finalist!!! Public Speaking is not an easy contest and takes hours and hours of preparation. SO very proud of all you ladies!!
Before there was Gus the Therapy Dog at CMMS, there was Carl Lee the stray that all of our students loved. We found him a good home and he came back today in the car line. It is so good to see how well they do when they leave our campus. Go Carl Lee!
