Our IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Advocates) Student Team attended a workshop on Wednesday at Rock Hill High School in Frisco. They listened to Dr. Phil Campbell talk about how school culture can change how everyone feels about walking into school. They came up with ideas on building a more acceptable school culture at CMMS. They also learned that they build their future and the way act and build themselves up helps people know who they are.
8th Grade Band students joined the Might Fox Marching Band Friday night. They had lots of fun and a great halftime performance!

The MS Football team played at home tonight against the Braves of Community. All 3 games were hard fought and here are the results:

Team Tenacity-Red House won the nine week competition. They went to Cathy’s Critters paid for by our wonderful PTO. They finished the day eating pizza, popsicles, and playing at a park. Tons of pictures with the animals to come! The kids were GREAT!
CMMS- If your student is a member of RED HOUSE, they won the first nine weeks house competition! PTO is paying to attend Cathy's Critters in Princeton. We will be eating lunch in the park. Please send $5 with them to school Tuesday so we can order pizza.

CMMS Beta Club is hosting a fundraising event, Homegrown Country Fest, this Saturday, October 16th at the Middle School from 6pm until 8 pm. Entry is $5 and will feature the music of CM almunis Brendan Lira and Jennifer O'Grady. There will also be face painting, bouncy houses, Fiesta's food truck, JESSICA's Ice Cream Cart, and Kona Ice.
