Yesterday, the CMHS Speech and Debate team competed in the UIL Congress Debate Regional Tournament. Emily Baxter, Maddie Cauble, and Kamdyn Mathews all advanced to compete in the final round.
Emily Baxter finished the tournament placing 3rd overall and Maddie Cauble ended the tournament as the Regional Champion, placing 1st!
Emily and Maddie both qualified for the UIL State Tournament in January!!
