CMHS hosted the 4A Bi-District One-Act Play contest for Districts 13 and 14. Our students performed A Bright Swarm of Beetles, and we have advanced to the Area competition for the second year in a row. We are now in a select group of the top 48 shows in the state of Texas. Many students were independently recognized at the contest: Avalynn Ackenback received All-Star Tech. Payton Steiniger & Donald Pierson were named Honorable Mention All-Star Cast. Silas Miller was named All-Star Cast. Michael Ortiz was given the coveted Best Performer of the competition. Congratulations! It's a great day to be a Fox!

Good morning, Our Lee Elementary and Middle School campuses are experiencing a partial power outage this morning. We are working with Oncor to restore power, but we do not yet have a timeframe for when this will occur. School will resume with the hope of full power being restored soon. We will communicate any changes and updates to our school community. Breakfast will still be served.

Check out the progress happening at Kathy Kirkpatrick Elementary! Looking closely at the exterior, you can see the forms where sidewalks will soon be poured! Cafeteria lines have been installed where students will load their trays with tasty meals, ceiling tiles have been inserted, and lockers and cabinets have been set up in classrooms. KKE looks beautiful! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvfWza3Le10

Big news from San Antonio this weekend! Case King, his brother Colt King, and Zane Scoggins competed in the San Antonio Ag Mechanics Marketplace Show this weekend, showcasing their craftsmanship and business acumen. In this competition, they had to build a project, establish a company, develop advertising, create a website and price list, and generate quotes to market their product to potential buyers. Their hard work and dedication paid off— they won Champion in their trailer class and Reserve Grand Champion of the entire Marketplace Show! Congratulations on a job well done!
