Special Education

Welcome

Welcome to the Special Education website for Caddo Mills ISD. The Special Education Department provides services for children with disabilities from birth through age twenty-one who meet the Texas Education Agency (TEA) criteria.

Our campuses have a comprehensive Care Team Program to review student information and, if appropriate, refer a student for a Full and Individual Initial Evaluation (FIIE).

Caddo Mills ISD has a team of evaluators that include diagnosticians, licensed specialists in school psychology, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapist, and physical therapist. Upon completion of an evaluation by our staff, an Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) committee reviews the data and determines whether a child qualifies for services.
